The Johnston Senior Center at Crown Point is reopening Tuesday, July 6! We look forward to seeing everyone soon. We will be serving meals at noon, Monday through Friday. Please make a reservation the day before by 1 p.m. We also have a take out option from 12:45 p.m. to 1 p.m. if you would like to take your lunch home. Polk County Senior Services offer a daily meal at Crown Point Community Center, located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway. Please contact the Center at 515-251-3707 for additional information.
    
View the July Menu (PDF). Meals are served at noon with a take out option from 12:45 to 1 p.m. All meals have been verified to meet the Dietary Reference Intakes (DRIs) established by the Food and Nutrition Board of the Nutrition Research Council of the National Academy of Science.

Senior Citizens Advisory Board

 
The city of Johnston's Senior Citizens Advisory Board is composed of nine residents, none of whom hold any elective position in the City. The members are appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council.
