Holidays at the Town Center

Mark your calendars for Holidays at the Town Center on Saturday, December 2, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the Johnston Town Center (6245 Merle Hay Rd.). 

This annual celebration of holiday spirit will feature the community tree lighting, an exciting visit with Santa and his reindeer, free ice skating, samples from local businesses and more!

Schedule of events:

• 4:00 p.m. - Santa arrives
• 4:30 - 4:45 p.m. - Dancer's Theatre/Midwest Youth Performing Arts Center
• 4:30 p.m. FREE Dunkin' Donuts (while supplies last)
• 5:00 p.m. - Community tree lighting
• 5:30 - 5:45 p.m. - The Unaccompanied Minors performance

Activities throughout the event:

• Santa and his reindeer
• Cookie decorating sponsored by Northpoint Church
• Reindeer making food sponsored by the Johnston Public Library
• Free ice skating on the synthetic rink
• Neon Heart Salon will be offering “Holiday Festival Hair” they will have tinsel and other ribbons to incorporate into braids and simple hairstyles
• Holiday kids games with First Baptist Church
