Crown Point Community Center Renovation

The Mayor and City Council reviewed preliminary design concepts for Crown Point Community Center renovation at the work session on Monday, June 5. The future plans include an addition onto the original building's west side, providing an enhanced viewing deck, an enlarged community room and additional meeting space. The renovation will improve the space and better serve our community with our recreation needs.

Additional key improvements include better accessibility throughout the building, user-friendly programming space, more windows and new infrastructure (electrical, HVAC, etc.) to improve energy efficiency.

Renovation efforts will be focused on improving the functionality and aesthetics of the building and surrounding area.

The project will be put out for bid in fall 2023. Once the contractor is chosen,  a more comprehensive timeline will be shared.
