Project Details
Four lanes are now complete on the NW 70th Avenue - Phase 2 Reconstruction Project. This project involves rebuilding NW 70th Avenue from Beaver Creek east through Northglenn Drive. The existing two-lane roadway has been converted to an urban, four-lane divided arterial road with left turn lanes at major intersections. Storm sewer, water main extension, relocation of existing overhead electric to underground, street lights, and elevating the roadway above the Beaver Creek Floodplain are all included as part of this project.
A recreational trail will be added along the full-length of the project.
This project is part of the city's efforts to increase roadway safety by improving the deterioration of the roadway surface and overall drainage in the immediate vicinity of the project.
