Case # 15-000891

SEPTEMBER 2, 2015 - JOHNSTON POLICE INVESTIGATIONS #15-000891 & #15-000900 

The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify the persons pictured in connection with a criminal investigation involving a shoplifting that occurred on August 12th and 13th at a Johnston Kum & Go convenience store.  According to the reports, on Wednesday, August 12th a male entered the Kum & Go convenience store at 6130 NW 86th Street at approximately 1:30 am. Before leaving the store, the male is alleged to have picked up a bottle of alcohol and exit the store without making payment for it.  Witnesses described the person as being a Caucasian male believed to be in his late teens to early 20’s with a medium build, blonde hair and muscular calves.  The subject was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt, black athletic shorts with a white stripe, black socks and white tennis shoes. 

A similar incident occurred again the following night.  According to the report, on Thursday, August 13th at 1:00 am another male came into the same store and proceeded to pick up a bottle of alcohol and exit the store without making payment for it.  Witnesses described that person as being a Caucasian male believed to be in his late teens to early 20’s with a medium build, brown hair and chinstrap style facial hair.  The subject was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, white athletic shorts with black stripes in a diamond pattern, and white tennis shoes. 

The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify these subjects so that they can be questioned regarding any possible knowledge or involvement they may have had in the described activity.
