July 1, 2014 – CASE INVESTIGATION #14-000745

The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify the person pictured in connection with a criminal investigation involving a stolen credit card that was fraudulently used on June 27th at the Grimes Walmart.  According to the report, sometime on Thursday, June 26th a Johnston resident’s vehicle was broken into and three of the victim’s credit cards were taken out of her purse that had been left in the vehicle.  Two of the credit cards were then used by a Caucasian female at 12:00 p.m. Friday afternoon, June 27th, to make fraudulent purchases at the Grimes Walmart located at 2150 E. 1st Street in Grimes.  The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify this subject so that she can be questioned regarding any possible knowledge or involvement she may have had in the described activity.
