The Johnston Police Department is attempting to assist Polk County Conservation officials with identifying the person pictured in this photo in connection with ongoing graffiti vandalism that has been occurring on the Trestle to Trestle recreational trail tunnel that goes under interstate 80/35 and along the trail that runs through Johnston. The graffiti is often tagged with the signature “IDLE”. The incident depicted in the photo occurred on March 7th at approximately 1:10 p.m. The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify this subject so that he can be questioned regarding any possible knowledge or involvement he may have in the described activity.


Anyone who has information about the identity and/or whereabouts of the person depicted in this photo is urged to contact Johnston Police Detective Steve Nore at 515-252-1365 or the Polk County Crime Stoppers at 515-223-1400.
