Crown Point Community Center is available for public rental for business meetings, weddings, and other types of parties and functions. The facilities include a full kitchen and a wrap-around deck. Outside there are two tennis courts and access to trails. Crown Point Community Center is located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway and is also the site of the Johnston Senior Dining Center. The Johnston Senior Dining Center is located at Crown Point Community Center, 6300 Pioneer Parkway in Johnston. Meals are served to senior citizens Monday through Friday at noon. Donations are accepted. Additional recreational and informational activities are also featured. Call 251-3707 to make meal reservations. The center is hosted by the Polk County Congregate Meals Program, sponsored by Polk County Senior Services. |
