Johnston Commons

Johnston Commons is a 14-acre neighborhood park located near the library,at the intersection of Merle Hay Road and Northglenn Drive. Johnston Commons is the site of the annual Green Days Celebration held the third weekend in June.

The Johnston Commons is the site of the Johnston Public Library, Simpson Barn, and Johnston Station Historical Society.

Historical Museum

The Johnston Station Historical Society supports the 100 year-old farmhouse and Simpson Barn on the site. The house is used as a historical museum with open houses held the second Sunday of every month, 2-4 p.m.
