General Information

Crown Point Community Center was originally a sports recreational facility built in 1978 and was donated to the City of Johnston in 1995 by Pioneer Hi-Bred International to be used by the citizens of Johnston. Crown Point Community Center is located at 6300 Pioneer Parkway. Access streets are Merle Hay Road or NW 62nd Ave.

There are several rooms within the center:

• The Prairie View Room measures 31 ft. by 31.5 ft. and has a capacity for 81 persons.
• The Meadow Room measures 15.5 ft by 31.5 ft and has a capacity for 32 people.

Hours of rentals are from 6 a.m. to 12 Midnight. Plans for the center include possibly adding a floor over the existing racquetball courts to provide more meeting rooms and office space.
