Public Hearing for Birchwood Crossing PUD Amendment

The Johnston Planning & Zoning Commission will hold a Public Hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 30, 2012, in the Council Chambers of Johnston City Hall, 6221 Merle Hay Road to consider the following item:

PZ Case No.  12-11; Birchwood Crossing PUD Amendment

The owner of 8277 Birchwood Court (former location of Perfection Auto Spa) has requested that the City Council consider an amendment to the Birchwood Court PUD to allow additional C-3 uses.  The current PUD zoning allows C-3 commercial uses, however the PUD prohibits auto repair as an allowed use.  The applicant is requesting that the PUD zoning be amended to allow auto repair.

The Johnston City Council will also hold a Public Hearing on this request, the date of that meeting is yet to be determined.
