Site Plans

Original Site Plans for Johnston Public Library Site Plans are drawings that accurately illustrate a property, with existing and proposed conditions.

The City of Johnston requires the submittal of Site Plans for proposed property development, to verify the development would be in accordance with the City’s requirements, standards and regulations.

Johnston’s Ordinance specifies the information that must be included on Site Plans.   City staff review the Site Plans for completeness and coordinate a Development Review with the applicant to discuss the Site Plans.  The Site Plans are then reviewed by the Planning and Zoning Commission.  A recommendation is made by the Commission (approve/deny) to the City Council, who makes the final decision whether to approve the application.

The review process typically requires about 6 to 8 weeks.
