Presale Begins for Tree Sale

In recognition of Arbor Day, the City of Johnston will be selling trees to residents. The trees being offered include Serviceberry, Concolor Fir, Sugar Maple, and Swamp White Oak and the cost is $25. Pre-sale of the trees will begin April 16 at 8 a.m. and can be purchased at Johnston City Hall. Cash or check only.Residents are allowed to purchase one tree and pre-orders are encouraged as the supply is limited.

 

Trees will be available for pick up on May 5, 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 am at the Public Works Facility at 6400 NW Beaver Drive. Residents who have pre-ordered will be required to show their receipt as proof of payment. If trees are still available, they can be purchased that day.

 

The residential tree program is supported by the Johnston Tree Board and the Johnston Lions Club.
