November 2, 2016 – CASE INVESTIGATION #16-001319 The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify the persons pictured in connection with a criminal investigation involving a credit card that was fraudulently used to make multiple unauthorized purchases. According to the report, on October 21st a vehicle was broken into while it was parked at the Johnston soccer fields and the victim’s purse was stolen. The victim’s credit cards were then used to make several fraudulent purchases at multiple merchant locations on the east side of Des Moines. The subjects in question are believed to a middle-aged Caucasian male and female who were driving a maroon & beige colored Ford F-150 extended cab. The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify these subjects so that they can be questioned regarding any possible knowledge or involvement they may have had in the described activity.
