- Free Drop-offs: Located in Bondurant or Grimes and open year-round, residents can safely dispose of hazardous waste for free.
- Houseside Collection: If traveling to a drop-off location is an issue, Metro Waste Authority will come to you. The service is provided on an as-needed basis and sign-up is simple:

- Complete the request form for houseside hazardous waste service.
- For the cost of $25, two bins and a large collection bag will be delivered on the 2nd or 4th Friday of the month.
- Once you’ve packed all your waste, request a pick up.
