The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify the person pictured in connection with a criminal investigation involving a stolen debit card that was fraudulently used on December 29, 2014 to make cash withdrawals from an ATM and fraudulent purchases at a Casey’s convenience store. According to the report, sometime on/about Saturday, December 29 a Johnston resident’s debit card was either lost or stolen and then used to make fraudulent ATM withdrawals at both the West Bank and Bankers Trust branch locations in the 3800 block of Merle Hay Road in Des Moines. The card was also used on the same date to make fraudulent purchases at a unconfirmed Casey’s General Store location. The subject in question is described as being a Caucasian female believed to be 20-35 years of age with brown hair. The subject was believed to be driving a newer model silver colored Chevy Malibu and a gray colored Mitsubishi Eclipse. The Johnston Police Department is attempting to identify this subject so that she can be questioned regarding any possible knowledge or involvement she may have had in the described activity.
