The CIP attempts to describe in detail the projects that are needed to accomplish the goals of the City Council and what has been proposed or identified in the comprehensive plan. A CIP provides the blueprint that is needed in order to select those projects or expenditures that will be authorized in the city's annual budget.
CIP projects are defined as those projects having a cost of at least $10,000 and a life expectancy of at least 15 years.
