Project Description:
This project is creating a 10’ wide trail that runs along the east/north side of NW Beaver Drive from the north City limits to NW 66
th Avenue. At NW 66
th Avenue, the trail will cross to the south side of the road and connect into a trail link east of Beaver Drive. This trail link will utilize a newly-constructed Kempton Bridge (Sycamore Access) with a pedestrian crossing to connect to the Neal Smith trail system.

Project Status: In reference to the above map, Phase 1 = Complete.
Phase 2 = Bids accepted. Construction planned for this Spring.
Phase 3 = Expect construction this Summer and Fall.
Phase 4 = Will be designed in 2018-19 and constructed in 2019-20 as a part of the Beaver Drive overlay project from Merle Hay Road to the south/southeast. Please notice the solid lines are actual off-street trail portions and the dashed section is a protected bike lane. Also, you will see a small solid line (trail) section that runs south on Merle Hay Road. This segment will tie into the existing trail near 70
th to allow for easier access to the trail system.
