NW 62nd Avenue Improvement Project Underway

NW 62nd Avenue from NW 86th Street to Meadow Crest Drive will be under construction beginning September 2011 with a completion date of December 2012. The project includes pavement widening and reconstruction, bridge construction, and intersection improvements to widen the existing two-lane road to a four-lane divided roadway. Roundabouts will be installed at the following intersections with NW 62nd: Pioneer's Beaver Creek Campus, South Drive, Pioneer's Carver Entrance, and Pioneer Parkway.

The hydrant relocation scheduled for Thursday May 3rd, 2012 has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 8. The contractor on the NW 62nd Avenue project will relocate the fire hydrant at NW 62nd Avenue and Pioneer's South Drive entrance. The water will be off at Pioneer Hi-Bred International from 6 p.m. to approximately 10 p.m.
Residents in Green Meadows West may experience a change in water pressure, but will not experience a water outage. The only customer that will experience an outage will be Pioneer Hi-Bred International.

Stormwater Utility Has Been Approved
